This 1951 Mercury Eight convertible is finished in green over a two-tone interior and is powered by a 255ci flathead V8 paired with a three-speed ‘Merc-O-Matic’ automatic transmission.

This example is finished in green with a tan convertible top, and additional features include chrome trim, a single spotlight, an ‘ah-oo-ga’ horn, and rear fender skirts.

Painted 15″ steel wheels are equipped with Mercury-branded hubcaps and are mounted with older BFGoodrich wide-whitewall radial tires. A full-size spare is fitted in the trunk.

The interior features front and rear bench seats clad in two-tone brown and tan upholstery, and matching upholstery covers the door panels that are accented by chromed hardware. A painted dashboard and brown carpeting further accent the interior trim, and additional features include power windows, an AM radio, and a tissue dispenser housed in the passenger-side footwell.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts instrumentation including a sweeping 110-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for oil, fuel level, temperature, fuel level, and battery charger. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, and total mileage is unknown.
