This build takes advantage of a 2016 C7 Corvette suspension with QA1 coilovers and a Street Shops Hammerhead differential. Braking chores are aptly handled by blacked-out C7 calipers, slotted rotors and stainless-steel brake lines. Inside, the Corvette also features a black leather interior with red stitching and a matching dash, power C5 Corvette seats with lumbar support, black carpet by Al Knoch, Vintage Air and Heat, Pioneer retro audio system, LED interior and exterior lights, E-gauges and custom clusters with backlit LED lighting. The powertrain for this beauty is also straight from the 21st-century, featuring a 6.2L LT1 dry-sump crate engine rated at 460 HP. It is teamed up with a 4L75E electronically controlled automatic transmission. The engine also features custom headers, with exhaust exiting through production-style side pipes. In addition to the mile-deep Dark Red Pearl paint, the exterior package also gets its “pop” from its fresh chrome trim and carefully polished and restored trim. The look is further accentuated with chrome prototype C6 Carlisle Edition wheels, measuring 19x9.5 inches in front and 19x11 in the rear, that mount low-profile Hankook tires.
