1965 Chevy C-10 Fleetside

All All 2 hits ID #8309

1965 Chevy C-10 Fleetside in hopes someone will love and enjoy it as much as I have. I pull it out of thegarage a couple times a week, ut when I do, ts a real head-turner with constantthumbs up and hand waves by most people I pass. I don't have to sell it, ut will if somebody offers what I'm asking - no low ballers please.Ipurchasedthe truck back inFebruary of this year. It was already in good condition, hich I was looking for a nice daily driver. It starts right up every time and is as dependable as a new truck - she has never left me stranded. It has a 327ci with an automatic turbo 400transmission. It has dual exhaust, hich sounds awesome at idle or getting on the gas. I have never hot-rodded it, just lovecruising. It does have an Edelbrock 4-barrel, ut the intake was changed, o it uses 2-barrels for savings on gas. I was going to add a new 4 barrel intake for about $150, ut I've been finedrivingit the way it is, he stillpicksup and goes pretty quickly. Feelcomfortable driving across the country or around town, ither way you'd be happy with this truck. I have taken it on trips with no problems. Remember, he truck is 50 years old, o don't expect a perfect truck with no flaws. The truck wasgaragedfor most of its life. The paint was done some years back, hich it still looks good. Obviously it was not a $10,000 paint job, ou can see some white underneath in some areas, hich appears to be the original color. Some paint chips where covered up by the previous owner; he used a slightly darker blue color, ut it does not look too bad. I intended on painting it, ut I like the way is currently looks, o I invested thousands on other upgrades and parts. No dents or body damage. There is very little rust that I can see, primaryslight surface rust in the bed which gives some nicepatina (no rust holes, ts solid). However, here is a small bubbling spot on the lower front fender of the drivers side (typical area for rust), hichyou should be able to see in one of the pictures. The floor pans were replaced, o the floor is nice and solid. The tires are new and have about 2,500 miles on them, long with a recent wheel alignment. It hasfactory A/C, ut you will need a new compressor (cost around $475). I haven'tpurchasedthe A/C compressor since the weather has been nice. I still have several parts in the garage that I have yet to put on, o I'll include those items to the buyer. Those new parts include: grommet set for the firewall, indow seals, hrome window felts, love box, hromewindshieldwipers and door arm rest for both sides. Here's a list of other new parts and upgrades I've done over the past 7 months, ll totaling over $5000, ost of which were installed byprofessionals.
