Assembled at GM's Fremont manufacturing facility in December of 1965, this fully sorted Elco mixes a coveted 396/4-speed drivetrain with a roster of factory options. During the car's ground-up, concours restoration, completed by Whitehall Auto Restorations of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, its body was massaged laser-straight and coated in correct Sandalwood Tan 2-stage. And presently, this Chevy rolls as a stunning classic that complements multiple Antique Automobile Club of America awards with a roster of Vintage Chevy Club of America honors. Under the hood, 396 cubic inches of dressed big block leads a tough Muncie 4-speed and a requisite GM 12-bolt. That pumpkin pushes a fully rebuilt suspension that's so fresh it still features bright, reproduction tags. Turns come courtesy of factory power steering. Stops are provided by power-assisted drums. And at the corners of the car, 14-inch steelies twist 7.75-14 BF Goodrich Silvertown whitewalls around optional wire wheel covers. Naturally, this El Camino's thorough restoration included the installation of a correct Medium Fawn and Light Fawn interior.
