According to the seller, the original engine was replaced in 2004 with a 440 from a Winnebago motor home. It reportedly was rebuilt, overbored 0.030-inch, has 10:1 compression with Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Comp Cams Extreme Energy 236/242 solid-lifter camshaft, a DUI high-voltage distributor, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, and more. There’s also a BeCool aluminum radiator with a pair of electric cooling fans and a custom exhaust system with FlowMaster mufflers. The seller reports the rebuilt power plant has 11,000 miles on it and starts and runs well, with no smoke and no leaks. It’s paired with a truck-based 727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission that has the rear housing for a car application. It is said to shift firmly with a shift kit, but the Park feature is non-functional and the parking brake must be used whenever the vehicle is parked. Additional drivetrain details include a Sure Grip-equipped rear axle with 3.23 gears, according to the seller.
