1967 Fairlane Ranchero was a one year only body style and the Ranchero was pretty much a Fairlane with a bed. It featured the same stacked headlamps and square grille up front, which made it a more popular choice. Brilliant Performance Red exterior with great body panels and fit, shiny chrome Fairlane side trim, glass, and chrome front and rear bumpers. The interior features twin black bucket seats with red piping, console, chrome T-Handle shifter in the floor console, red padded dash, driver's side mirror, Day/Night mirror, factory red steering wheel, aftermarket stereo radio system, and black carpeting.
Ford put a potent 289 cubic inch engine in the lightweight little grocery getters and the Ranchero had entered the muscle car arena in 1967. It is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and has Power steering, Power brakes, and plenty of power. It rides on 5-spoke chrome mag wheels and good black wall performance tires and has a sporty feel and ride as well as a great exhaust note too.
