1967 Pontiac GTO 400 CI V-8 engine

12 hits ID #8009

Unrestored and driven just 13,679 miles, it qualifies in many respects as a reference-quality example of Pontiac’s flagship muscle car. This low-mileage 1967 GTO is of such quality that it has been studied by several parts companies, which have measured various components as reference for the creation of accurate aftermarket parts. After the car changed hands, Miller reinstalled the original 400 High Output engine, factory air conditioning and power windows before placing it on display in his museum. It still wears its original Regimental Red paint, black vinyl roof and the original black interior, which features bucket seats, a center console with Hurst shifter, wood-grain accents and a pushbutton radio. The power of its original 400 HO V-8 engine is transferred to a Dearborn 3-speed manual transmission.
