The seller reports that the truck has an engine from a donor Corvette that had just 20,000 miles before an accident made the engine available. That powerplant is a 5.7-liter/347-cu.in. LS V8 which the seller notes was rated by the factory at 345 horsepower when new. Before it went in the truck, the fuel injection system was replaced with a Holley 600 cfm four-barrel carburetor with electric choke atop an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake. The mods to this motor are extensive and include: an MSD engine controller, MSD coil packs and plug wires, a TCI flywheel, a high-flow water pump, a March pulley kit, a Be Cool radiator, electric fan, Doug’s ceramic-coated headers and a Flowmaster exhaust. The seller says that the engine has no leaks, and that it starts “as it should.” The transmission is an automatic, with no information about the donor vehicle. The seller says that the transmission “works as it should.” The seller’s notes indicate 3.73 gears in the rear axle.
