1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV 460CI V8 Maroon w/ Black

16 hits ID #9477

Description

Power is supplied by a 460ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission, and service in preparation for the sale included replacing the intake-manifold, valve-cover, and transmission-pan gaskets as well as the brake master cylinder, both rear wheel cylinders, two of the power-steering hoses, and all four tires, along with changing the fluids.

The car is believed to have been refinished in its factory maroon and features a black vinyl roof, concealed quad headlights, cornering lamps, a power antenna, a remote-adjustable side mirror, opera windows, body-color side moldings, and a faux spare-tire bulge on the trunk.

Steel 15″ wheels are fitted with full covers and Venezia Classic 787 tires showing 2020 date codes. The brake master cylinder and the rear wheel cylinders have been replaced, and the front disc and rear drum brakes.

In the cabin, Twin Comfort Lounge Seats are upholstered in faded maroon leather with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting with faded rubber floor mats. Amenities include six-way power-adjustable front seats, automatic temperature control, folding center armrests front and rear, tilt steering, power windows, electric door locks, and an AM/eight-track stereo.

The three-spoke Rim-Blow steering wheel fronts a woodgrain dash panel with instrumentation consisting of an inoperative Cartier electric clock, a fuel-level gauge, and a 120-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 92k miles.
