The redline accenting on the tires is also a correct U.S. market specification, rather than aftermarket garnish. Aside from its relatively modest 57,231 miles, other features of note include the fresh OEM red interior and matching boot cover, both supplied from England, and the rarely seen trunk rack, which adds further touring practicality.
Such was the TR6’s popularity that it continued in production even after the introduction of the TR7. To put it bluntly, not only was TR6 the last of the 6-cylinder TRs, many Triumph fans also consider it the last true TR and certainly the most complete car overall. Moreover, its sales success, particularly in the U.S., also means it is particularly well supported by spares and expertise.
