Power is from a 455ci V8 paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. Now finished in black over black, this example features a front bucket seat conversion, RetroSound stereo, MOOG coil springs, a Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor, MSD HEI ignition, and more. 15″ Oldsmobile SSIII wheels were sandblasted and repainted in 2014. Dayton Daytona 205/65 tires are mounted all around, including on the trunk-mounted full-sized spare. This car was equipped with Oldsmobile’s F41 suspension and was modified with MOOG CC507 variable-rate rear coil springs in 2013. The upper ball joints were replaced in May 2017, and new unassisted drum brakes were added in April 2017. The factory front bench seat was converted to 1969 Oldsmobile 442 bucket seats with new seat springs, foam, and black upholstery in 2013. New sound deadening and black carpets were installed in 2013 as well, and this car is equipped with full factory-tinted glass and manual steering. A removable Scott Drake center console is fitted, and Lloyd floor mats were installed in 2017. The replacement Oldsmobile Rallye Sport steering wheel is mounted on a factory 4-speed steering column, while Rallye Pack instrumentation includes a 120 mph speedometer, tachometer, and fuel and temperature gauges.
