1962 Bel Air station wagon, back in the day station wagons were only driven by large families it was the predecessor to the soccer mom vehicles of today. The result was since they were not "Cool" most of them ended up in the crusher when they got old. Move forward 50 plus years and a 1962 chevy wagon is a very cool car, this one being one of the best. It has a Chevy 350/350hp crate motor, runs cool 180 degrees, along with the GM 700R4 overdrive transmission, 3;73 positrac which allows for all day cruising down the highway. This car also features vintage a/c to keep the interior cool. It has power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes, mounted to the famous Boyd Coddington wheels, 18"s on the front and 20"s on the rear. The low profile tires are fresh, less than two years old. The suspension is a high quality air ride technologies, very smooth and allows for raising and lowering the car. The dual exhaust features flow master mufflers and side exit exhaust, has a great muscle car sound. The stereo is a custom install with several speakers and amps. It has a hidden NO2 system, the bottle is in the back and is not hooked up. the previous owner did it for show, it will go but he has not used it. The paint is a beautiful fire engine red and the interior is done in original style material
