1929 Ford Model A Woodie Wagon 201CI I4

8 hits ID #8324

Finished in tan with black fenders and a wood body, the car is powered by a rebuilt 201ci L-head inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Coachwork consists of a steel hood and cowl finished in tan and wood-frame construction from the windshield back with bird’s-eye maple body panels, a black vinyl-covered roof, an exterior sun shade, rear-hinged rear doors, and a drop-down tailgate. Black curved steel fenders are connected by rubber-covered running boards, and additional features include a chrome steel front bumper, a tilt-out windshield, an A-pillar side mirror, a windshield wiper, a Sparton AF horn, a combination taillight/brake light, and a Ford-branded MotoMeter gauge. Etched-glass wing windows and turn indicators have been added. Steel 21″ rims laced to hubs with mechanical drum brakes are finished in yellow and fitted with 4.40/4.50 Firestone whitewall tires. A matching spare is mounted on the driver side. The black-vinyl-trimmed interior features a front bench seat and two middle-row seats that provide access to another bench at the rear. Bird’s-eye maple body panels carry over to the interior, black rubber mats protect the floorboards, and lath strips underpin the canvas-covered roof. A four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a body-color metal dashboard with a lighted chrome panel housing a fuel-level gauge, a keyed ignition, an ammeter, and a barrel-type speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, true mileage is unknown.
