1957 DeSoto Sportsman 8 Cyl Automatic Yellow

This is possibly the most well preserved Desoto in existance today. The car still retains its 1958 inspection sticker as well as the dealer nametag on the trunk! I am a mechanic and have changed all fluids and filters. The car retains an amazing amount of original features as it should such as the original spare tire, spark plug wires, battery cables, carpets, etc. The car is mostly original factory paint, still worthy of any car show, and it is so very clean underneath that the factory assembly crayon markings are still visable! The car drives absolutly beautifully, incredibly smooth and wisper quiet. The car needs nothing. Also it is fairly unusual to find a car with radio delete and factory air that blows cold! The firesweep model was new for 57 and is a nice model because it is a shorter wheelbase with the beautiful fins and unique trim. All in all a very sporty excellent riding and handling car. Also I believe, the first year for torsion bar suspension which continued to be a wonderful feature for the chrysler corporation. This is a special car that cannot be duplicated...they are original only once.
